Omschrijving:
We are looking for an experienced Cognos Analytics engineer (m/f) with at least 5 years of experience in using and developing the Cognos Analytics 11.*.* platform. The candidate has proven experience in developing reports, dashboards, stories, data modules and frameworks. He has knowledge of the portal administration module and preferably has knowledge on the Exploration Module and Natural Language Search features of the application.

The engineer must also have at least 2 years' experience in providing functional support to and training of end-users on all levels of experience. Preferably the engineer has experience in supporting and coaching end-users in the autonomous use of the platform through self-service.
The engineer preferably has at least two years of experience in an SQL query language (MSSQL, PL/SQL, etc.).
The engineer will become part of an agile squad that functionally develops and operates the Cognos Analytics application and provides together with other squad members support to > 10 K users in the Netherlands and Belgium. He will closely work together with the other members of the squad., in planning, refinement, execution and review of the squad user stories. He will also collaborate with other squads that are supportive to or make use of the Cognos Analytics application.
He has knowledge of and experience in working in an agile environment that uses the scrum methodology.
Work language is Dutch / English.

Tasks in order of importance:
• First and second line functional and technical support Cognos Analytics users in Market Leaders: solve issues, support in use Cognos Analytics platform (report module, dashboard module, data module)
• Collaborate with other DevOps engineers in squad in further development Cognos analytics platform: access management, (report)folder structure, module use, new releases, etc.
• Give training on the job and as a trainer in learning paths
• Maintain and develop Cognos Frameworks and Data modules
• Create reports / dashboard / data modules
