    For our client in Arnhem/Leeuwarden we are looking for a Documentum Engineer.

    For our document and content management teams we are looking for creative and passionate IT engineer. The Document Management department is responsible for the development and maintenance of all applications with regard to document composition, print management, scanning / data capture and archiving. This department works closely together with the Center of Expertise Document & Content Services department.

    We work with state of the art software packages from Ricoh and Opentext.
    As part of the Customer Dossier team you will have a crucial role in provisioning a platform for the Businesses to efficiently process different types of communication from the customers for archiving and making this available to our customers and authorized employees. The Customer Dossier is part of the 360 Customer Profile and therefore crucial.
    You will be responsible for developing and supporting applications/tools for the business partners with 7*24 (stand-by shifts once every three weeks) availability. You will contribute to the team’s strategy of rolling out upgrades and maintaining performance, availability, monitoring, security and the Continuous Delivery pipeline. Together with other DevOps Engineers in your team you will work according to the Scrum methodology.

    With experience of Enterprise Content Management you are specialized in Customer Content and the role it plays in the relationship with the customer, services and risk control.
    Knowledge and experience of the following are expected: Content Management, Retention Management, Dossier Management, Search & Retrieval and High Volume Archiving.
    The Customer Dossier team is responsible for the development, lifecycle management and operations of EMC2’s Documentum and xCP implementation and its related components. Documentum and xCP are part of the ECM suite, which is delivered by the supplier EMC2.
    Within NL Documentum and xCP are the standard target solutions for customer communication archiving and dossier management. The solution is used for Archiving content from other applications and / or uploaded by the external customer via the site as well as enabling retrieval of content by internal parties and by the external customer. In the end state, hundreds of millions of documents will be stored in the Customer Dossiers. Content is added in batch or per document.

    As the work will be transferred from Arnhem to Leeuwarden, candidates are expected to work in Arnhem for at least 2 days per week. Knowledge will be shared from this location.

    Tasks:
    - Detailing user stories during refinement sessions
    - Testing and implementing patches/releases of Documentum / xCP and its related components in two-week sprints
    - Maintain and improve the Continuous Delivery Pipeline
    - Maintain and improve the Bash shell scripts and Java applications
    - Maintain and improve Documentum API’s
    - Maintain and improve xCP applications and processes
    - Maintain and improve the logging software and the monitoring software
    - Participating in the further growth and implementation of Continuous Delivery tooling
    Lifecycle & Risk management
    - Daily operations and pro-active control
    - Evaluate Penetration testing and act on findings
    - Pro-actively perform Capacity management
    - Assist in Disaster / Recovery tests
    - Communicate with the international supplier Opentext of the software package Documentum / xCP about improvements, requests, roadmap e.g.
    - You additionally actively participate in the Scrum process and in Continuous Delivery Engineering Practices. You will play a positive role with your DevOps team growing the experience and knowledge within your team.

    As an IT DevOps Engineer at Document Management you and 6 other enthusiastic professional colleagues will work together in a Tribe, Chapter, Squad environment in Leeuwarden (The Netherlands). Delivering a generic service, it’s important that you are proactive and focused on delivering a continuous improvement of the domestic Dutch Customer Experience. The working environment at Document Management will be challenging and fun due to the complex nature.

    Technical Role Requirements – Must haves:
    Knowledge of and extensive experience with:
    - Working in a high volume Dossier management and Archiving environment - at least 3 years’ experience
    - Linux (6.7 / 7.3) and Wintel environment. Experience with 1 earlier version of Linux is also acceptable.
    - Building and testing Linux scripts
    - Oracle experience
    - Java experience. We are not looking for a Sr Java Developer. You must understand Java, but it should not be your core business.
    - You are fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and in writing. English is important because the suppliers are international.

    Technical Role Requirements – Nice to haves:
    Knowledge of and extensive experience with:
    - Completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a technical IT study
    - Working according to the Agile/Scrum method as well as with the DevOps method and ITIL.
    - Continuous Delivery tooling; e.g. Nolio, Jenkins, GITlab, GitHub
    - Test approach and test tooling is a nice to have; e.g. Agile testing, UFT, ALM, Gatling, jMeter
    - Monitoring tooling; e.g. ElasticSearch, Logstash and Kibana, Grafana
    - Documentum 7.2 and xCP 2.2 (or a similar Content Management package is a pre) (modules: xCP 2.2, HVS , ReportServices, RM 6.8, CTS 7.2 (incl. media), FedSearch 7.2, TCS 7.2)
    - Experience with HTML
    - Experience with REST services / API’s
