For our client in Amsterdam we are looking for a passionate and innovative Frontend & Backend Developer.

It's quickly becoming the technological driver behind the banks innovation by focusing on setting up a web-scale architecture in which high performing engineers work end-to-end agile. The purpose of tribe IT DevOps Platforms is to empower engineers to build and run their own services.
Within the IT tribe, The squad is responsible for creating automated insights in the reliability and performance of squads and applications.
In the squad you will be responsible for creating Java consumers which gather and receive data from existing services (Kafka and Web interfaces) and store them into a NoSQL Cassandra database. Furthermore, you will design and implement a Java RESTful API and a Polymer front-end to make realtime reliability reporting available.

The squad is a motivated team with ambitious engineers who love their job and like to have fun together. You will join our DevOps squad as a Dev Engineer to make a difference with your passion and innovative mind and skillset.

We believe the right candidate has the following profile
· A minimum of 3 years of experience in software engineering with Java
· Experience with JavaScript frontend frameworks and ecosystems (Polymer is a plus)
· Experience with DDD/TDD
· It is in your DNA to stay up to date on relevant new technology developments
· You are able to develop clean, maintainable and secure code
· You feel at right at home in a multicultural high performing environment where English is our working language
· You have a DevOps mindset and are a team player

Nice to have
· NoSQL knowledge and experience (Cassandra is a plus)
· Knowledge of monitoring and measuring performances of web services
