For our client in Leeuwarden we are looking for an IT DevOps Test Engineer.

For our Customer Information Management squads we are looking for a creative, passionate, and all-round IT engineer. Customer Information Management is responsible for the customer data and the related processes such as becoming a customer, including processes for accomplishing regulations for KYC (“know your customer”) such as FATCA, FEC, and CRS.

You will be working in a multidisciplinary squad which has the responsibility for the 7*24 hour operational stability and availability of critical applications on the D-T-A-P environment. You will have a major role in testing applications distributing KIM data real-time to third parties. You will also be involved in analyzing and documenting the requirements of those third parties and translating those to our developers, as well as contributing to risk control.

The DevOps squads use the Agile/Scrum methodology and Continuous Delivery Engineering practices. Not only does the company lead the line for IT innovations, but also in the way of working in developing, building, and testing of applications. This also applies to the process of managing and decommissioning applications. Due to these methods we can continuously offer our customers the most optimal services, and at the same time build our leading position in the market.

The working location is Leeuwarden, but you must be prepared to incidentally travel to Amsterdam.

Tasks:
- Developing and maintaining automated test scripts;
- Performing functional and non-functional tests;
- Analyzing requirements and translating those to developers.
- Performing deployments and related administrative tasks;
- Maintaining the Operational Control Documentation;
- Maintaining the CMDB;
- Participating actively in the Scrum process and in Continuous Delivery Engineering Practices;
- Participating actively in a Chapter.

Profile:
- Working according to the Agile/scrum methodology as well as with the DevOps method;
- At least 3 years of experience as test engineer is required;
- Testingtools (e.g. RIT, Loadrunner);
- TDD (Test Driven Development) and ATTD (Acceptance Test Driven Development);
- Continuous Delivery tooling (e.g. Maven, Nolio, Jenkins, GIT);
- Working with Chain Monitoring environment (Logstash, Kibana, Grafana);
- Knowledge of Tibco, EMS, Kafka, and Java is a pro.

- Fluent in English, both in speaking and in writing;

- Completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a technical IT study or a comparable education;
