For our client in Leeuwarden we are looking for a Senior IT Ops Engineer (CCM, Linux, CI, CD, Monitoring).

This will be for the squad E-Motion Base of the tribe Document & Content Service (D&CS;). We are looking for a senior IT Ops engineer with (CCM) consultancy skills.

D&CS; is building a state-of-the-art Customer Communication experience to enable our strategic ambitions. A challenging project based on technologies where Java, .net and a diversity of COTS products are needed to deliver an integrated customer solution. From an engineering perspective not only the engineering side like code development, deployment pipelines, automated testing are important but also knowledge about the COTS products itself and the operational maintenance of it.


For our IT Area we have the ambition to productize our capabilities to the rest. D&CS; is responsible for the development and maintenance of all applications with regard to document composition, digital communication (Inbox, SMS, email), print management, scanning, data capture and archiving.
Flexibility and creativity is needed to manage the complex application landscape that is formatting the high volumes of documents and to take care that these are delivered without delay for the customers. Your squad is specifically responsible for the further development and deployment of a new CCM (Customer Communications Management) package: Quadient Inspire. Together with other Ops and Dev Engineers in your team, you work according to the Scrum / Agile method and ensure a 7x24 availability.


We are looking for a strong personality with an outgoing, easy-to-work-with, mature and no-nonsense mentality. Someone who on the one hand learns quickly and on the other hand can explain complex things in an understandable way to his environment. Both to fellow engineers and to management. In addition, the man / woman we are looking for is someone who values to work as part of a team.


The main tasks of the team:
- Maintain the Inspire platform.
- Maintain Inspire Scaler flows (new flows, adding output channels, …).
- Setup/Maintain Monitoring.
- Setup/Maintain Track & Trace.
- Expanding/Maintaining tests (chain-, regression-, performance-).
- Keep Security on par.
- Improving/Maintaining CI/CD.
- Elaboration of operational management according to SLA (Standby, Incident-, Change-, Capacity-mgt ..).
- Lifecyclemanagement (Infra, Software, …).
- Continuous improvement of operational management (LDAP, …)


Your main tasks
As an all-round and Senior Ops engineer your main task will be guiding the team to further setup and adjust the operations and maintenance activities. Based on your broad IT expertise and experience you are able to give significant contribution in making the right design choices and coaching the team to prevent incidents and perform at a high level.


Technical Role Requirements
- Maintaining large corporate systems.
- Linux (RedHat) system administration and scripting skills.
- CI/CD tooling: Git, Artifactory, Ansible, TFS.
- (Oracle) databases (also DBaaS).
- Monitoring (e.g. Kibana; Log4all, Logstash; Grafana).

Nice to have:
- CCM (software packages) in general.
- CMM tooling Quadient Inspire (specifically Scaler).
- Banking landscape and tooling (OCD, SOLL/IST, ..).
- Collaboration tooling like Confluence and ServiceNow.

Competencies
- Business fluent in English. Speaking Dutch is a plus.
- Communication and consultancy skills (both spoken and written).
- Pro-active, willing to take responsibility.
- Analytic with translation to action plans.
- Willing to work in standby shifts outside regular office hours.
