For our client we are looking for an Ops Engineer "with a focus on OPS" in a Data Lake Content Squad.

Job Description:
You will be working in a content squad consisting of DevOps engineers and data analysts from business-side. The squad is focused on building and maintaining Information Stores (Data warehouse layer) and Datamarts in the Datalake. Your main task will be the daily maintenance and monitoring of Data Lake applications including the incident management. You will be responsible for keeping up to date the operational controls as well.

Must haves:
Several years (>5) as an Support / Operations engineer in Linux or data warehouse environment. You have broad understanding of ETL and related tools.
- Leader in engineering skills
- Experience with Linux stack
- Bash Scripting
- Experience with Continuous Integration/Delivery (e.g. Ansible, Jenkins, Artifactory)
- Experience with versioning tooling like GIT
- Experience in setting up monitoring with the ELK stack (Elastic search / Logstash / Kibana)
- Experience with performance management on the linux stack and ETL jobs.
- Experience with ETL tooling like DataStage (Pre), Informatica, SAS DI, SSIS
- Experience with database like Oracle, PDA (Netezza), SQL server.
- Experience with life cycle management of applications in a data warehouse environment
- Team player
- English and/or Dutch required

Nice to have:
- Experience with Hadoop
- Experience in an Agile/Scrum work environment
