For our client in Amsterdam we are looking for a Oracle BI/DWH Developer/Architect (PL/SQL).

Experience of core PL/SQL and be able to set up a DWH (Oracle) from scratch is also needed besides BI and data mart experience.

We are looking for an DEV Engineer to perform the role of Technical software architect/developer. In this role you will work in the IT organization of Risk Management in a BusDevOps team. You will work in the dynamic and challenging environment of the client. In this role you are working closely together with the Business Analysts and vendors. We operate according to a Scrum Agile delivery process and strongly believe in the DevOps approach to delivering IT solutions. The focus is on high-quality mission-critical software delivered in time using iterative development with regular milestone demos to the business, so that at the end there are no surprises about what we build.

Your profile
- Your key competencies: excellent team player, persistent, service oriented, customer centric, eager to learn.
- You love to deep dive technology, searching for root causes of issues and incidents and to resolve them.
- Master of Science in Computer Science or an equivalent field.
- You love technology and naturally stay up-to-date on relevant new developments.
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, preferably in creating high scalability mission-critical applications
- You are able to develop and tune efficient and maintainable code with the right balance between solving the problem at hand and not over-engineering your solution.
- Experience with Continuous delivery.
- Good knowledge OS fundamentals with the ability to apply it in the context of modern operating systems (e.g. Linux).
- You have excellent knowledge of relational databases (e.g. Oracle, MS SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.). Knowledge of NoSQL data stores, while not mandatory, is a strong nice-to-have.
- Past experience on Data Warehouse platform and understanding of complex Data Warehouse architecture to safeguard the integrity of the system.
- Flexible with respect to working pattern/ hours.
- Great English communication skills, verbal as well as written.
