    For our client in Amsterdam, we are looking for a Product Owner / IT Service Manager

    The Service Manager - Procurement IT Solutions plays an important role in the service gateway model. As part of the team Platforms and Solutions, this person works closely together with the product owner of the shared Procurement solutions and the Service Manager of TECH to align, secure and translate business/non-functional requirements into IT Solution requirements. This person secures that service levels between parties clear, aligned, monitored and reported.

    Key Responsibilities
    Service Management
    · Establish professional service management practices in line with the relevant governance models for service management, over the identified Procurement IT solutions delivered to the countries by Global Procurement and/or service providers on behalf of Global Procurement.
    · Register and maintain the internal contracts of Global Procurement with the internal Service provider(s) and Countries (in line with the Intragroup Contracting standards and practices (MSA, Service Catalogues, Statements of Services, Volume Agreements, Charging agreements).
    · Measure the customer satisfaction, the new customer needs and the demand in general with the customer community. Provide feedback on the observations, content and challenges to the process- and product owner(s) in Global Procurement.
    · Measure the end-to-end performance of the services and the performance of the respective service providers (KPI, SLA, Service Levels). Provide feedback to the various service providers for them to adopt and integrate into their continuous improvement plans
    · Develop trust-based relationships with relevant stakeholders, being the business owners in the countries, various service providers, the relevant function holders of Global Procurement and other relevant staff functions, such as risk and compliance

    Business Analysis
    · Secure that the business requirements and non-functional requirements are translated in to the IT solution requirements
    · Support the product owner(s) and the team in managing the backlog
    · Participate in functional acceptance tests and prepare, support and guide the users in the countries with their user acceptance tests
    · Run demand forecasts at regular basis and especially for mid-term planning (MTP) purposes.

    Functional Support
    · Train (new) procurement professionals in using IT solutions
    · Support/run procurement events, such as Request for Proposals and Auctions) on behalf of Procurement team members
    · Support with answering solution related questions if needed.

    Specific requirements:
    · 5 to 10 years of experience in IT service management, IT operational management, and/or IT change management function, in complex and multinational organisations, and preferably over sourced and/or offshored operations.
    · Solid understanding of Procurement processes and solutions (Sourcing, Contract Management, Request to Pay and Reporting).
    · Proven track record of continuous improvement.
    · Experience with the Agile Way of Working is desirable.
    · Proven interest and understanding of IT, IT trends, and IT in the financial industry.
    · Proven service management mind set and behaviour: Global Procurement as a department is an operational service delivery organisation from which the countries, units and stakeholders are entitled to expect staff to have the service mind set, the sense of continuity of business operations, the aim for operational excellence and continuous improvement.
