For our client in Amsterdam we are looking for a Projectmanager (Financial Markets/Blockchain).

The project
A global initiative aimed at disrupting capital markets with the use of emerging technologies such as Distributed Ledger Technologies & Blockchain. We envision that digital assets will play a pivotal role in empowering our customers to stay a step ahead. As any blockchain related project, we are working in consortium with our peers. To succeed close collaboration and coordination between partners as well as internal support functions is needed.

Role
You take lead in designing and deploying an effective collaboration framework and are in charge of all the project management activities and engaging with the relevant stakeholder. You will be working closely with the project lead as well as the dedicated contact people in our partner organizations.
- Improving project management methodologies, performing all project management activities like planning, following- up, reporting, etc.
- Maintain and evangelize standardized collaboration tooling
- Engage with lab management for operational requirements.
- Centralize and distill relevant information.
- Be proactive in identifying and removing potential blockers.
- Handling effective communication with all parties/stakeholders

Profile
You are highly motivated professional, with experience in managing complex projects in a regulated financial institution environment with and have an affinity with blockchain . You are able to work in a fast paced and complex environment where a curious, self-starting and analytical mentality is desired. You are a generalist, capable of quickly picking up new tasks. You can work independently on different tasks given and communicate the progress with the other team members
- Bachelor’s degree minimum (business administration)
- Minimum 3 years of related work experience (financial markets)
- Experience in Agile Methodology
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Motivated self-starter with strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Time management and organization capabilities
- Result oriented and analytic thinker
- Are native/fluent in spoken and written English
