For our client in Amsterdam we are looking for a Senior Full Stack Java Developer (ES6+/Spring Boot).

We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack engineer who will help build the foundation of our web channels in order to offer the best user experience for our customers. We look for an engineer with modern day engineering skills and competences like an eye for innovation, creativity, attention to details and good communication.

We are responsible for the Intelligent Search Platform. We Search the CMS system where our Customer Journey Experts can create best-in-class digital content so we can offer a smart, personal and relevant experience to our customers. We also create and maintain the front-end components that use the Search API to fetch the relevant content and show it to our customers.

You are:
A highly motivated engineer who likes to work in a multidisciplinary, self-organizing team of engineers and business colleagues. You are a proficient Front-End as well as Back-End engineer with more than 5 years’ experience in both disciplines.

You have good knowledge of, and experience with Java, Spring Boot and how to apply design patterns to a complex architecture in an enterprise environment. You also know other supporting technologies such as Kafka, Elastic and Gatling. Furthermore, you have a high-level understanding of how DevOps works and what it takes for your code to go from conception all the way through to production.

For Front-End, you have knowledge of, and experience with the latest JavaScript versions (ES6+) and how it is causing the Web Development landscape to change. You are passionate about learning about to latest and greatest advances in Front-End technologies. You have good knowledge of Component Driven Development, Component Composure, Web Components, and supporting technologies such as litHTML, LitElement. You have experience with applying design patterns and architecture.

You have great analytical skills and conceptual understanding. You are able to quickly understand new technical concepts and technology and you have a strong interest in, and vision of, the latest trends in software development and technology. You have experience with giving presentations and workshops, and in general have strong communication skills that enable you to explain complex technical concepts to non-techies. Your English in speaking and writing is fluent and you are a team player who likes to join the social events of the squad and the organization.
