    As the Team Leader – Project Support you will contribute to the success of the organization by providing professional management services and operational support for the administrative and project management activities. The successful candidate will have proven skills in working with a PMO and/or Project Management group and in leading a team of Project Support Officers.

    As Team Leader you lead, monitor, and supervise a group of employees to achieve goals that contribute to the growth of the organization. You accept responsibility in managing the Project Support team members, working closely with the project teams to coordinate and implement project, personnel and general administration requirements, and you will continuously ensure that all IT project support & financial administration processes are consistently applied and improved, as required. You motivate and inspire their team by creating an environment that promotes positive communication, encourages bonding of team members, and demonstrates flexibility. You will present with a proactive approach in leading operational tasks and making decisions.

    Your Primary Responsibilities will include:
    Overseeing all activities within a team.
    Deciding how to approach tasks and develop a plan to accomplish them.
    Distributing information to team members and stakeholders.
    Keeping track of and structuring various tasks, employees and documents.
    Coaching team members on achieving goals and developing necessary skills that get results.
    Developing team members’ performance, offering feedback and demonstrating the desired skills and expected work ethic.
    Working alongside its members to develop their skills.
    Developing team strengths and improve weaknesses.
    Identifying the team’s strengths and weaknesses.
    Determining which team member excels at which task, delegating the required tasks to the appropriate person.
    Striving for continuous improvement in the skills and the ways of working in the Project Support CoE team.
    Determining areas of opportunity and the appropriate steps to improve on them.
    Identifying team goals and evaluate team progress.
    Evaluating goals and determining how the team will measure success to prevent miscommunication.
    Determining the goals that members will work toward.
    Giving team members a clear understanding of what they are expected to complete.
    Setting clear team goals and evaluating progress along the way allows teams to work collaboratively.
    Preventing conflict where possible and resolving it when it does arise, by setting ground rules and clearly assigning tasks.
    Conferring with members as a team to give everyone the opportunity to come up with a solution that works for both sides.
    Organizing team meetings, topics of discussion and progress toward the goal.

    Your requirements;
    As a Team Leader – Project Support, you have:
    Minimum of 5 years’ professional experience working in (project) support / administration at a medior/senior level.
    Minimum of 2 years’ professional experience in leading teams.
    Excellent organisational and communication skills.
    Analytically strong (eye for detail).
    High level of operational excellence, a perfectly organized character, fast and flexible.
    Experience of working in a project management environment.
    Experience is financial reporting or other relevant experience.
    Good verbal and nonverbal communication skills; communicate in a way that is clear, effective and directive.
    Strong organizational skills to monitor progress and keep team members motivated.
    Ability to trust & delegate to team members.
    Fully embrace integrity: lead by example.
    Show a confident work ethic.
    Experience of working with Microsoft Office in particular, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
    Self-starter and proactive
