We are looking for an ad interim IT Product Owner with a drive to enable Engineers globally to speed up their software delivery to achieve a state-of-the-art differentiating customer experience.

We are looking for an ad interim Technical Product Owner. Together with your team, you will provide BizDevOps feature squads IT capabilities on a high performing world-class platform, so they can offer customers the best possible digital experience across countries, segments and channels.

This is what you will do:
You set and share a clear vision on the front-end development by translating this into IT product direction, timely product solutions and highly predictable implementation moments via your product roadmap.

At first, you focus operability of the web platform, that acts as the 24/7 engine of the application front-end. Then, as a Product Owner, you prioritize and refine new requirements into best-in-class digital solutions. You create the right product vision and establish the timely execution of your product roadmap via sprints and releases of the IT capabilities. And overall, in this, you are the leading inspirer, initiator, and creator on what is needed to be developed on Front-End web standards and platforms.

To achieve success and great results you are one with the business. Starting with your feedback and requirement meetings with the user board and present them back your updated product plan on front end architecture, to contribute to yours and their goals.

To deliver the product features you work with a multi-disciplinary DevOps development team. You need your squad expertise’s to work on timeliness delivery of Engineering tooling. Part of this is that you also work very closely with relevant experts outside your team like lead front-end engineers, tech leads and UX designers to create together the best digital experience for our customers.

Including the daily scrum ceremonies, you ensure high predictability of delivering your progressive plan with your squad. To get there, you write, refine, slice and prioritize stories for the epics to be delivered according to capacity in the sprint and release planning. Because you are well organized, prepared and have your schedule up to date you are able to make the best decision of that day on what to pick up first for the day after tomorrow and make that happen going forward.

To realize delivery as planned you ensure that dependencies and impediments are being resolved by the right people in time. For this you have regular interaction with stakeholders and suppliers. Because you are well informed you can convince them to take the proper action.

During a dynamic day your work loops from short to long term horizon and vice versa. Looking to the day after tomorrow you continuously have the ambition to improve our Omnichannel platform as well as the delivery process. You help all our software Engineers to accelerate their software delivery.

For the longer term, you steer on right value creation by determining valuable and sustainable change on web standards needed in the future. You determine in time what to initiate up front before the identified value, needs or problem arises. Some of the means you use for this are data and web analytics generated by your own product.

Periodically you will have market visits, bring outside in view, and analyse what is needed for a longer horizon. And that’s not all. You set and share a clear vision on the front-end development by translating this into IT product direction, timely product solutions and highly predictable implementation moments via your roadmap against acceptable costs.

So, you will work in an ever-changing environment with dozens of squads and processes. This means that you need to learn quickly, be alert and adapt to reality. Finally, if you want to be the best, you daily pay attention to continuously changing reality. Therefore you balance the work needed to be done for your product development that has the most business value. Further on you deal with direct insights and (organizational) forces that need to be managed and planned with the stakeholders (Tribe MT, User Group, Business representatives, global IT partners).

Ultimately, in the end, you are the driving Product Owner and responsible that our squads globally can accelerate and deliver a surprisingly Omnichannel user experience to our customers.

Your personal “backpack” should contain:
• A Master degree in Information Technology or relevant experience with modern front-end technologies. Solid knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Continuous Delivery and integration tools.
• A certified Product Owner with at least 3 years working experience for a technical Product within a large scaled Agile organization, with multiple Agile scrum DevOps teams, and well recognized multiple achievements in the delivery of value in IT4IT epics.
• Experience with the creation and implementation of technological delivery frameworks for DevOps squads within large companies.
• Good knowledge of IT risk, quality management, monitoring, performance management.
• A progressive look with which you invent valuable features that contribute to speed up software delivering technical capabilities on Front-End web technology.
• Excellent communication skills (both verbal and in writing) and storytelling capability in fluent English, clearly articulating the rationale and links to a defined strategy and goals to large groups.
• As a person easy approachable, holistic view and analytic consultancy skills, managerial skills.
• A team player with ‘we-mentality’ and strong organizational and problem (impediment) solving skills.
• Result and delivery oriented mentality. You take it on and make it happen. You are recognized in right value output against good quality and planning, purpose and epic creation (OGSM), dependency management and broad stakeholder management.
• An eye for the customer journey, customer needs and outside market developments.
• Prove that you are constantly improving and sharing your IT knowledge (books, tutorials, weblogs, presentations at congresses).
• Legal and risk awareness.
