For our client in Amsterdam we are looking for a Security Engineer.

Your work environment:
The Centre of Excellence for IAM squad is part of the Consumer Infra & Middleware department.

The primary focus of the Centre of Excellence for IAM is on being a key enabler to realize our Think forward ambition. Sharing data and information will become even more important and automation will impact our organization with robots and artificial intelligence. To enable this to happen in a secure environment we need a fast and easy IAM experience where access right can be delivered in a safe and simple manner.

Who are you:
You are a driven IT security engineer with excellent IT security knowledge and the ability to diagnose and resolve ambiguous problems. You have very good social and communication skills. You work together with your colleagues across your domain. You have a have a 'no nonsense' getting-things-done mentality.

Responsibilities:
- Act as a resource to colleagues seeking security-related advice and/or information.
- Create, implement and maintain security-related solutions for applications.
- Identify abnormalities and oversee and monitor routine security administration in Aveksa.
- Willingness to continuously improve technical skills

Your profile:
- Your key competencies: excellent team player, persistent, service oriented, customer centric, eager to learn, an entrepreneur.
- You love to deep dive technology, searching for root causes of issues and incidents and to resolve them.
- 3+ years of IT Security experience, preferably in creating and implementing security solutions for applications.
- Knowledge and experience with the Aveksa platform.
- Excellent understanding of Unix/Linux and/or Windows security.
- Extensive work experience in an Agile organization
- Flexible with respect to working pattern/ hours.
- Great English communication skills, verbal as well as written.
