    Start: z.s.m.

    Duur: 4 maanden, optie op verlenging

    Inzet: 40 uur per week


    The Internal Communications Manager contributes to the development and implementation of the Corporate Internal Communications strategy. He/she will come up with strategic and imaginative plans to engage with employees so client's purpose, strategy and culture become relevant and clear to them, they can act upon it and they can tell the company’s story in their own words.

    The Internal Communications Manager is a trusted advisor to senior management, works with multiple stakeholders and takes responsibility for communication initiatives from strategic plan to ensuring timely and effective tactical delivery.

    Expected result

    Develop strategic communication plans to drive engagement and cultural transformation. Contribute to further development of a conversational approach.

    Develop global campaigns around client's purpose, strategy and culture or for specific corporate programs and events (e.g. Financial results).

    Run the campaign from strategy and concept development to ensuring timely and effective tactical delivery and impact measurement.

    Work closely together with Content Managers within IC and with other teams within the department (e.g. External Communications and Brand Experience) to create focussed and effective key messages.

    You are able to build powerful relationships with Sr Management and you support them in their positioning and communication.

    Ensure effective and timely tactical delivery of internal communications initiatives and manage the cascading process to internal stakeholders.

    Contribute to development of processes and tools to ensure efficient alignment of all Group internal communications activities.

    Develop measures and benchmarking of internal communications activities to monitor performance.

    Build strong working relationship (strategic and advisory) with key internal stakeholders, including other teams of Group Corporate Communications, HR and international communications colleagues in BUs.

    Be up-to-date at all times with best internal communication practice and new trends. Contribute to new (agile) ways of working.


    Academic working and thinking level (e.g. MSc in Communications)

    5 - 7 years broad communications experience, specifically in a global multi-national organization

    Proven ability in developing and managing strategic internal communications initiatives from the ground

    Strategic-minded with ability to translate into practical solutions

    Excellent stakeholder manager

    Excellent interpersonal skills

    High level of English (native or near native)

    External cannot take leave mid July until mid August
