For our client in Amsterdam we are looking for an Ops engineer (MDM, Azure DevOps, Grafana, Elasticsearch)

At the core of the layer in the platform, the IBM InfoSphere MDM system contains all our clients European parties and is the source of PSD processes for person/party data. We are responsible for the maintainability and distribution of the data, always keeping in mind the interests of the end customer. You will be working in close co-operation with stakeholders (feature squads) and you will be actively participating in the extension of the platform's capabilities by deploying and configuring new features, components and releases in a controlled way. You take initiative in coordinating dependencies with other teams, and you are responsible for the quality and availability of your software.

Main responsibilities:
• Keep the platform operational according to the expectations of the consumers
• Maintain and deliver new operational functionality to the Platform
• Guide changes in a secure way and without interruption to production operations
• Maintain MDM within the Platform
• Support the consumers of (in delivering Data overview, and solving DQ issues for example)

Job Requirements:
Knowledge and experience:
• Experience with Azure DevOps
• Experience with Prometheus & Grafana, both metrics and alerting
• Experience with Elasticsearch
• Experience with Incident, Change & Risk Management
• Familiar with container orchestration (OpenShift) and Docker
• Experience in providing technical analysis of user requirements
• Master s degree level or equivalent through experience
• Experience with continuous delivery, continuous integration, code quality
• Experienced in working in a complex environment, Agile methods, and Software development frameworks
• Strong delivery track record
• You have a 24x7 mindset and are willing to participate in a stand-by shift, knowing that our client operates a 24x7 business for its customers

Nice to have:
• Experience with IBM Master Data Management (MDM) Enterprise version 11 physical
• Experience with the WebSphere application server
• Experience with Kafka
• Experience in developing applications using:
o SQL (DB2 preferably)
o Java
o Maven build tool
o Bash scripting
• Experience in data modelling
• Experience with distributed teams
