For our client in Amsterdam/ Rotterdam, we are looking for a Senior Network Engineer (Palo Alto, NSX, Cumulus)

The opportunity
Our networking environment is growing rapidly and we need extra hands to make sure we can still deliver our networks up to the high standards. We work with state of the art technologies with very high capacity. We need you to help running our operations and development.

The team
The squad is responsible for development and operations of the clients datacentre and private cloud networks. Our engineers are very experienced. Working from NL and Poland we are used to working remote, but also meet in the office on a regular basis. We work (but not only) with a variety of network technologies.

Roles and responsibilities
Working in our squad involves
• You will have a key role in running our operations and later help with our development.
• You will work in close collaboration with our other network experts in solving complex incidents.
• You will act as an advisor to the team when it comes to operations.
• Monitor our networks and incoming requests and incidents
• You come up with proposals for preventing incidents and improving our performance

• You are on top of things and understand what it means to work with critical network environments. Working with suppliers and (internal) customers is not new to you.
• You have at least five years networking experience in a large organisation.
• You are self-driven and proactive.
• You know your way around Palo Alto, NSX and or Cumulus. You understand EVPN technology.
• You have experience with network automation.
• You have configured and worked with network monitoring systems
