For our client in the surroundings of Amsterdam, we are looking for a Solution Architect (TOGAF)

As solution architect within the solution delivery team sourcing and procurement you are responsible for designing and implementing specific solutions that align with the organization s overall business and IT strategy, with a specific focus on the finance and sourcing and procurement domain. You work closely with the enterprise and domain architects, who are responsible for defining and maintaining the overall architecture of the organization, to ensure that the specific solutions designed by you are aligned with the overall architecture and support the goals and objectives of the finance and sourcing and procurement domain.

Within the solution delivery team you will have a close collaboration with business analysts and project managers to ensure delivery of the solution and hand over to service delivery. You will also have to align with peers in dedicated IT teams for the several brands in our organization responsible for local solutions.

The specific responsibilities of a solution architect within the solution delivery team for finance and sourcing and procurement may include:
• Defining the overall architecture for specific solutions within the finance and sourcing and procurement domain, including the technical infrastructure, systems and software(products), business processes involved, information needs and data management.
• Collaborating with other teams such as the enterprise and domain architects, business stakeholders, project managers, business analysts, and developers to understand the specific requirements of the finance and sourcing and procurement domain and to ensure that solutions are aligned with the overall business and IT strategy.
• Identifying and evaluating new technologies and solutions that could be used to improve or enhance existing systems or services within the finance and sourcing and procurement domain.
• Communicating the solution architecture to technical and non-technical stakeholders, including developers, project managers, business analysts, and business stakeholders, within the finance and sourcing and procurement domain.
• Ensuring that solutions are designed to be scalable, adaptable, and cost-effective, and that they meet all relevant security and compliance requirements within the finance and sourcing and procurement domain.

The role typically requires a strong understanding of various technologies and development methodologies, as well as good communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. A solution architect typically has at least a bachelor s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field and several years of experience in software development, IT operations, or a similar field. And a certified level in The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF).
A good understanding of the finance and NFR sourcing and procurement domain and the specific challenges and requirements of this domain is preferred.

Experience with the following products is beneficial:
Coupa, Zycus, Peoplesoft, Trax. Experience in expressing designs in archimate is preferred and experience with Bizzdesign is beneficial.
