For our client in the surroundings of Amsterdam, we are looking for an Oracle PL/SQL DevOps Engineer

Do you want to work at a company where they continuously put new software live, have websites with millions of visitors per week and where you can work in complex development environments? Are you already familiar with working with Agile and / or Scrum, very nice! You will be working at the department responsible for developing the customer s digital experience. Among other things, the website and the app fall under IT Online.
The database teams mainly work on product-, warehouse-, logistics-, and management systems.

A super motivated Oracle expert who has a clear vision and who can convey it well. You help your colleagues where necessary, but you can also work independently and in a structured way. In addition, you are learning and curious. Furthermore, you understand what the business needs and can make that translation into scalable solutions.

What we ask
• You have at least hbo/bachelors work and thinking level
• You have at least 8-10 years of relevant work experience with PL/SQL in large databases
• Familiar with Oracle Forms (11g)
• Knowledge of SQL*Plus, TOAD and/or SQL Developer
• Knowledge of Git/Github is a plus
• OutSystems experience is an advantage
• Java/Kotlin experience is an advantage
• Kafka experience is a plus
• Demonstrable Scrum experience
• Knowledge of SHELL scripting, Linux and the Oracle translation hub is a bonus
• Retail and logistics process knowledge is a bonus as well
• Team player and proactive
• They work in DevOps teams and are also responsible for Operation 24/7 - It is necessary to participate in a Standby schedule.
• Good communication skills in English (spoken and written)
• Preferably living in The Netherlands
